I new to this water cooling and i am looking @ going with water. One Question for anybody here, have any of you seen or have the Thermaltake Armor case setup with internal rads in stead of external rads on the back ? this is the case i have and i was just wondering how hard it would be to make a good internal rad seup. I was looking at the Switftech Apex system or should i build a custom setup, I know the Appex has dual external rad and can i save any money by putting 1 together my self. Thanks..............

My case http://www.legitreviews.com/article/241/4/ is reviewed here but I still thinking what would be the best spot too set up my rad.

In front of the removable 5.25 bays where i easily can place my rad. It can suck in the cold air outside the case and let the warmer air out of the case at the backside of the case (120mm fan).
Small problem, I have a dvdrw + floppy + fancontroller + reservoir that needs to fit in the remaining bays. Hope this works or i have to choose the following setup.

Drill out the top of the case to fit my rad. Bit more work but saves some space.
But radiator is cooled with hotter air from the case too the outside.

But the same setups will perform about the same, nothing to make me worry about. I already have a good caseflow (2*120mm + 4*80mm and 2*120mm at rads)

I think i'll go with the rad at top.

Delerious did you do that custom work at the top with the drive bays and such? If so, it looks completely professional.. amazing work.

    Thx!

Yah i cut the drive bays down as it extended from the bottom to the top. Then built that shelf and flush riveted it in. Pretty simple, and i did it all by myself

I was quite proud of myself when i finished it.

Talking Now for a quickie shoehorn job....

Getting my 'BsmtPc' Revision 3.1415926... ready. Just gotta hack out the bottom for better air flow and put the wheels back on

    PC-V1000
    PA-160 + storm + mcp655 + OCZ 600 PSU.
Drives will sit on left, taking floppy bay and using it for now, then some dremel work and riveting to take one of the HD mounts I removed and put it up there. Think there will be enough airflow for the drives. No window since this is for HTPC and no one will see it after I'm done And I am making this another cooling system that can be removed w/o disassembly, just unplug and detach Res and Block, then pull the whole thing out

Very nice work mike, you think that rad would be sufficient for cooling a GPU too?
