set square, ruler and i made a template by joining all the individual shrouds together (before thermochill offered a complete single solution like they do now)

mask off the area first and use a pencil to mark it all out

    simple stuff

hey maxx, yeh im skint after uni so had to sell my dell 2405 (only had it a month but i wanted to play) and then the water to our friend cashman, it wasnt a huge amount of hassle just fancied a change back to air with some cash to start covering some of the overdraft

i may venture into water again next year when i have some more cash to spend....

also noticed cathar selling (?) his G4 design to swiftech

good move for the unlucky people not forunate enough to grab a g4 earlier this year

i do read here from time to time, just dont post too much

I agree, Trice gets an "A" on wiring from me

I want my future WC system to look similar - short, direct, and thick lengths of tubing, none of that skinny stuff with slack throughout the case...

    Oh thanks!

Yeah the TDX comes with a long screw like shaft that you place in the MB holes. Under that you screw on a little locking nut, put a washer under that, and then its just a matter of screwing it down. Really easy

Masking tape on where you want to cut and then lay it out on there , cut thru tape...

Think of hole saw as cup w/ teeth, hole in center of cup mounts to arbor (central stalk that cup screws onto, then put the whole thing into the drill like giant bit) Arbor also has pilot drill point to center the hole saw, drill pilot hole first.

CLAMP IT DOWN. DRILL AND SAW GENERATE ALOT OF TORQUE and YOU dont WANT to SCREW UP your CASE do YOU?

Yeah that looks good, but do the 90 deg angles mess with the flow rate much?

donno if you were talking to me but it seems like i'm the only one w/ the wires. Yah like i said those are old pictures, and most of the wires coming from the psu are managed, only the LED wires are a jungle!

eBoy0, that looks nice too. And I agree, wire management would have made it look a lot better.

Is your flow setup right? I thought it was from pump to the rad.

as was mentioned above i dont think it would really make a difference.. especially considering its a small loop
