    BH-6 DRAM any good?

I was wondering if the Winbond BH-6 chips were any good? I can get a gig of HyperX (2x512) rated 2-2-2-5 with the BH-6 chips. Is it worth a shot?
Anyone here use any RAM or in particular, the HyperX with BH-6? What were your results? Thanks.

i have a kingston winbond BH-6 stick which tops out at 201 FSB stable.

you may have heard many of the BH-6's do well at tight timings and high FSBs but some are out there that just don't.

    That's BH-5, and it's probably 3V real voltage.

I dont believe that blinky... those are ungodly chips and i'd be feeding them 3.3v+ if they were able to to that.

    Not even my 0348 BH-6 single sided BH-6 can get over 240 2-2-2-11 @ 3.2v by 1mhz. 3.3v gets me to ~246.

Although, all 3 of my BH-6 sticks (2x256 XMS3202 1.1 double sided 0208 to 0216 chips, 1x256 Trancend PC2700 single sided 0348 chips) will do 240 @ 2-2-2-11 with 3.2v single channel, or all at the same time (3x256 dual channel, DFI Infinity nF2 Ultra 400) at 2.5-2-2-11 3.2v

    correct,

    3202v1.1 is BH-6

but XMS3200v1.1 (NOT 3202) is BH-5, and they didn't specify which they had.

    *writes that down*

Thanks, i've heard the "XMS3200 BH-5" thing a couple times but nobody said that it was actual 3200 1.1 as the model number and not 3202 1.1, since most people just refer to it by product name...

My 512MB Kingston Value RAM 221 BH-6 runs 260 2-2-2-11 at 3.3V on my infinity. As I bought it in the middle of 2002 I only have one so these results are SC.
I got 4 512MB Sticks of BH-5 but none of them matches the BH-6

    at 3.2V dual Channel on my P4C800-E, my 2x512 XMS 3202 v1.1 will do 235 2-2-2-6.

I have an A64 3200+ and K8Npro set up right now with a +3.3v vdimm mod and plan to try out the XMS. My 2x512 pc3500 Mushkin L2's do 267 2-2-2-11 so hopefully the XMS will fare well too!

Well, I guess I will just keep my hopes to a minimum and if it performs well, I'll be happy.

Well, my RAM hasn't arrived yet and the guy I got it from says he doesn't have tracking or DC #, he sent it standard mail with no insurance or tracking......who the hell sends $230 worth of RAM without either of these things?
