    Question P4C800-E Dlx vs IC7-MAX3

I have been reading in these forums alot. I see that most people mod the P4C800 with voltage mods of differant types. I was plaining on getting a new mobo this week(old one died)

I have a 2.8c and OCZ 3700 gold rev. 2. I want to run it at 1000 fsb @ 1:1. I dont want to any mods to the mobo unless I have too.

Any thoughts on witch motherboard will be best.

    Thanks for any feed back.

If you don't want to do mods than you should perhaps look at Abit's AI-7. What is nice about it is that it is very fast.

    I second that...

both the droop mod and Vdimm mod are easy to do,

if youre not bothered then you should look for another board

Thanx for the feedback. Again sorry for the double post.
I got the p4c800-e dlx board. I will do the 2 mods. vdimm and droop. So for I like this board. At first I was not to sure about modding it but after reading they seem pretty easy. So I will go to radio shack tonight and get the vr's needed.
All I want to do is run it @ 1000 fsb stable 24/7.
Thnx again and I will update my progress.
