<<Athlon XP>> 22K and up charts

Just compiled a list of the fastest Athlon XP's on the orb from 22K up, going below 22K would be a biatch. A second pair of eyes would be great so if theres someone i have missed LMK

The "CPU cooling not specified" is due to the annoying tendancy that users neglect to put there specs in their description, some mention GPU cooling ect but no CPU. Please LMK your cooling and i'll pop you in the correct section.

Please note: ***Pre NV40 / R420 Only**

...Sorry but when the time comes you will have to have your own thread, im not prepared to filter through 2200 MHz Athlon XP's that have a nice clocking 6800 Ultra, plus this is the fastest systems, not the fastest video card... of course this is nothing to do with the fact that i wont be getting one

- 23K with a Tbred (IamAnoobieCheez holds the award until bowman verifies his score as not bugged )
"XP'ed XP" award goes to......kup

- Top 10 score and running Win"HO" XP
"Pre-gen Pwnage" award goes to ....Iolao

- In the club with a 9700 PRO (Iolao holds the award until bowman verifies his card is a flashed 9700 and again not bugged )

47th overall and 7th air cooled XP setup on the orb is good enough for me

To tell u the truth you guys on air have really got some nice results, especially Gaz,

*cough* airconditioning *cough* .

Thats across the board, I know whats it like really pushing the boundries on air, i remember putting 2.2volts through my 9500 core on a 1u copper heatsink with a delta 80mm screaming at 7200rpm.

Come may the 18th ill be aiming for mid 23k and up, wanna inflict some damage on the phase change group

lol, if you think Aircon is cheating, then feel free to move my score into another category. However, the way I see it is that I don't live somewhere as cold as Last Viking, for example. So all I'm doing is re-creating the aircooling he'd get in the comfort of my own home

Edit: Nvm, just noticed the categories have changed in their definition.

Sorry didnt mean to make it look like that I have insinuated that aircon is cheating.

On the contrary the innovation in your set up is commendable, talking abt LV is a perfect example of why I dont think your cooling is cheating.

I remember a recent post from LV where he says that he can run at 235mhz with the case away from his window any higher he would need to move it to the open window!!!

So i know how much cold air can help an overclock
