    MCW 50T (pics)

hi Friends, just have finished the mcw50t installation. I didnt use the foam suplied by swiftech, neither the usual nuts and bolts.
Just used a DCP plate (Plate used to fix bone fractures) on the back of the board...

What newbie, where? ou did it like a fully fledged pro m8!
Well done and text book condensation profing (with dielectric grease).

You may want to upgrade yout TEC element to get ~10C ful load temps.
Btw, very nice core clock d00de! I am impressed

    better safe than sorry.
the last thing you want is to boot and get horrible little characters in bios, (moisture in the slot does this)
well i actually had a leaking water block into slot and a puddle as well, lostt that card)
    happened last week actually

what did you use to stick those ram sinks onto the card.
ps if you eva gonna upgrade that tec go the 172w tec 24v one and power it with 12v, most effient use

i was thinking that kayl, sorry for knowing you lost your card.. .i think i have put to much AS5 too, but when it booted fine and i am running at 490 MHz, I wouldn´t take off and clean. Man that grease is messy. About a bigger pelt, maybe in the fututre, since the extra insulation did (Coat both sides, grease and neoprene) the wb isnt tottaly dry under load.
Here i like a sauna, i would have an extra loop for that.

Do you intend to Vmod the Gpu Voltage? You might wanna try AS Ceramique to AS5. Read some where here.

I only have changed the stock cooling of the gpu to a mcw50t, but before was running hot at 415/365.
I forgot to mention, i have coated the back and the front of the pcb with conformal coating.

No, where do you apply the conformal coating, because I only see the green dielectric grease.

You can use clear nail polish if you dont have "conforma coating".
