    New chiller project

Well i think its time to make a better waterchiller, the one i currently use reaches a good temp, but its just so bulky and loud. (plus it heats up my room like nothing else)

So i need some ideas, i will most likly be using a new 5000 btu unit, but i really want this to be a compact chiller. I would love to set the unit in a window, but im pretty sure i coudnt fabricate a custom res for the evap with my limited welding and soldering skills. Any ideas?

Cooling stuffs heating up rooms sounds all too familiar to me I once thought about putting just the condensor out of the window, and get some nice long pieces of copper pipe to stash the rest of the chiller somewhere I like. Refrigerant charging costs would increase some, as there's just more needed, but charging costs are high anyway.
