    R404 some help...

I refilled my home made phase change with R404. With 1/5hp compressor i managed to get -37 without insulation. Is this good?

what is it you have used as a suction line on that? looks strangley like a chargeing hose. if it is it will leak eventually, mabey not straight away but im willign to guarante it wont stay like that for long. i think this is exactly what berkut was talkign about aswell. the seales in the chargeing hose arent designed to be in constant use and i dont think they are designed for suck low temperatures either.

have a search on some other threads and see what other people have used, i think couragated metal gas line is a favorite of everyone, useing a chargeing hose as a suction line wont work for long because it will start to leak refrigerant (or atleast thats what everyone says, never tried it myself)

i doubt your temps will improve by changeing hte suction line, but it would be a pain after you get it set up just right if it leaked and messed it all up again.
