hey Lotec25 I don't have any knowledge about these chilled cooler things, but so far it looks good. I am guessing the top pic is some sort of compressor. It seems to work on the same principle as a chilled line cooler for kegs. where you coil a bunch of tubing in a cooler and as the beer runs through it it cools it off. Good work man keep us updated.

AFAIK, that res looks way too big for the evap. Its gonna take ages for that evap to cool down so much liquid. You might want to get a smaller cooler or fill up some space with matter.

whats is it out of (fridge, freezer, fridge/freezer)
also is there any chance of a close up of the evaporator, and some pics of the mess you made getting it out.

does anyone know is it safe to bend the evaporator, sorta folding it in on itself to make it smaller to fit inside a smaller cooler box?

Yea i got some pics . That is the best one i got of the compressor it is not to good of a pic.

It is out of a mini fridge. A person told me that he had the same thing and it got the water down to around -20C. The specs are 1amp and about a can of r134a. It gets cold really fast. And The person i was talking to said he had a cooler that help 8 gallons and his temps were at about -20C. That is alot bigger cooler then mine. And if i need to ill put something in there to take up space. I had a smaller cooler to use and it was way to small. And that one was the best i found for the job. I got some more pics of how i set it up i will post.

I like that fan you are using for exhaust. Really classy!

    Ok,

Well i junked this one. Not really it is sitting in my closet now. I picked up a Windows A/C unit this weekend and almost got it done. Ill attach a few pics.

let me know what yea think. Also i was thinking of geeting rid of the fan and using the one that i had on the other to keep it quieter. Will it work as good or not?

    Ok,

I got it done and ready to hook to the MOBO. I just got to change liquid. Just becasue it says Antifreeze does not mean it will not freeze.
