no, both can happen. For example, clockgen will make my Barton M "lock when the mHz OC is exceeded. Memory errors usually manifest in reboots in a bench or BSOD.

according to my findings, CPU error cause blue screen, chipset error causes freezes, memory error cause blu screens
can you see the light? is it shining too bright? can you see the light at the end of the tunnel, i know i do, i know its true.
