Good inexpensive socket A board & memory

I think my KD7 has more or less bit the dust...

So I'm thinking about trying my hand with a mobile XP 2500+ and new memory. I'll ether get a KT600 board /w one 512 stick or an NF2 /w 2x 256 (more expensive)...

What do you guys think? Can I get some good overclocks on a KT600 with a mobile XP 2500+ and my Aeroflow heatsink? For $60 I can get....

    - Albatron KX600S Pro (most features)
    - Chaintech SKT600
    - Soyo SY-KT600 Dragon Plus
    - Abit KV7
    - MSI KT6V-LSR
    - Gigabyte GA-7VT600-L

What about memory? Buffalo Tech has some decent looking 512 sticks on newegg....but I have not really been keeping up.

    Thanks!

I dunno man. I'd jump on the bandwagon and pony up the extra money for an infinity. Seems like overclocking is the goal.

should overclock fine, might not be able to whack up fsb(depends on what gfx card you're using) but multi unlocked no problem. My 2500+ normal from late 2002 would do 2.4Ghz 200x12 no probs on the epox kt600, very good fast stable board. Depends what its used for, if you're buying ram or have ram that will do 220Mhz+ i'd say go with a nf2, if not, do whatever you want, fpr $60 you'll have very good performance on the cheap \o/
