    A64 sys, need advice

Hi, I'm thinking of buying an A64 system now I need some advice what to buy. I'm on plain watercooling and got some kickass BH-5 ram. I thought of a 3200+ 1024kb. Now I need to know which mobo to buy, as you probably know, I want to get the most possible out of this.

Should the HTT bus be the same as mem clocks or is it unnecessary? and what's VDDQ voltage, HTT voltage ? o_O
What you think how high will I get with watercooling and some BH-5 ram, I'm planing to do Vdimm and Vcore mod as long as it doesn't kill my sys. I'd put 2,2v without a bad conscience through my tbred, but what about a64 and high volts ?

Again, im gonna recommned the gigabyte k8n-pro. I dont run a 1:1 HTT/mem clock, as I try to keep my memclock around 220mhz to keep my timings tight as possible. I also have bh-5. THe a64s dont need as much voltage as the tbreds and bartons I think I only have 1.7 volts going through mine and I get 2.5ghz easy with really only my cooling holding me back. And my VDDQ and HTT voltage is maxed, not sure what VDDQ is exactly though...

So there's no performance loss when running async mem/htt ? hm 220mhz on ram, you said you've done a vdimm mod, so why don't go for more, does the board loosen the timings ?
And what about pci/agp-clocking are they locked anymore on nf3 150 ? If not does mem or htt clocking raise the pci/agp clock ?

Of course theres gonna be a performance hit running an async htt/mem clock. Its no different then the P4 systems and all their ratios.... I'm running my memory at that speed because overall, with my present cooling solution, its the best performance I can get. AGP is locked, PCI tends to float a bit. Just use clockgen to overclock your system, and make sure you keep adjusting the pci clock back down as you overclock.

How are you cooling cpu ? air or water ? And is yours a good overclock or more an average ?

Im using a Koolance EXOS water cooling with an extra radiator looped into it. I would say its an average overclock, I'm very impressed with it though as I've seen people with phase change only get 200-300 mhz more on average.

What's max safe voltage for an A64 ? As long as you keep Bartons/Tbreds kool it really doesn't matter, so what's with A64s ?

No, she has pasties on. That was at my Pimps and Hos party, fun night to say the least.
I dont know on the max safe voltage, you might be better off asking some poeple with better cooling solutions, as I have had to raise mine up all that high. I believe the highest I've seen was 1.95v or so, and that was at almost 3ghz. My barton used to love high voltage, these just dont seem to need it.
