    Is this possible?

    Wha if I take a tupperware container and fill it up with ice cold water, then put my raditor WITH my 120mm rad fan inside the container and then start the system?
    The rad fan will spin around and circulate the cool water around the raditor taking the hot water away.

    The main problem is keeping the water in the tupperware cool.

    or you could just put ice in your res...

    I doubt the fan would short.
    I put my motors from my rc car in the sink and nothing happened to it :0
    Motor's dont short because of water, but circuits do
    My wc load temp on my cpu has gone to 33 celcius at load and it used to be only 26-28c. I think it's because the summer is almost here

    Just take the radiator off and circulate the ice water with the pump. The radiator won't do you any good. I wouldn't even consider putting a fan in the water.

    haha, if you put the fan in water it'll short out and probably kill your psu.

    Fans aren't sealed.

    the leads will short circuit your psu when they come into contact w/h20

    It'll probly work, as long as you use distilled water (=non-conductive) in the container. Tapwater will ruin the fan rapidly. Still, I'd recommend a pump over a fan any day, you could make a schroud for it fitting the rad. Do mind using a rather large container, so the water temp will remain low much longer.

    The fan will overload and stop dead from trying to push water instead of air, and putting a fan in water is a very bad idea anyway.

    Oh, hehehe. I have the Einheim 1028 pump which is not submersible hehe.

    You don't have to put the pump in the water. Just stick the tubing in the ice water.

    you know, this setup idea will only be good for benching. as you would have to replace the ice in the water continously.

    thats why you should just put a large res in your loop and put ice in there when you feel like benching.
