    Reinsulated me reinsulated insulation!

Its a TC4 rev2 and this is like my 7th time insulating it

I carved out some styrofoam (this isint conductive of static electricit... right?) and ploped the block in. I'm gona make room for 2 mounting hardware things in the block. I'll screw the block on with 1 in diagonal corners than put the foam over it and use 2 longer mounting things to hold that onto the block than seal the edged. Good for -40C? I'm gona test at -20C today...

Well I knew it wasent going to fit but looking at the thing and test fitting it I would have about no insulation left after cutting it to fit So I mounted the block and I decided I'm gona run upside down like Iamanoobiecheez (awesome setup man ) untill I get a board I can actually insulate on...

    Infinity is teh sux.

    ...

What are you going to use to mount the mobo upside down?

Iamanoobiecheez uses some sort of wire rack right? Would there be a problem with the wire touching the mobo and shorting it? I guess you chould just put foam around the rack to be on the safe side.

    afireinside,

Your saying you're planning on insulating the WB with pipewrap? Hmm, seems to me like one helluva job to get done properly. I've used closed cell foam, 1cm (0.4") thick. Just bought one of them backpacker's sleeping mats 70*180cm (28*70") big for just 2.50€ (=3$). If you can't find them mats, you could just cut up some mousepads (neoprene). Also a cheap alternative.
