I have glasses, but only when I have to see clear over long distances, else I never use them as I hate to have them on...
Same here. I never wear glasses in the house, and am allowed to drive without them. Whenever I go outside though, I always wear them so that I can see farther .

KE, would you be able to add an "My eyes are usually fine, but occasionally come over all geeky, I sometimes wear glasses/contacts." option?
I've heard it all, I've seen it all, I've done it all. I just don't remember any of it.

Yah!! Add the new options so I can vote. Um, I'm blind, but don't wear my glasses. I'm suppossed to wear my glasses, but I don't. I pass road signs while trying to read them.

If I'm out drinking and shooting pool I have to take my glasses off because I can't shoot pool with them on. As I get ready to make my shot I'm looking out the top where there is no lense and then my cue ball is down in the lens. Anyways you get the point.

So whn I go out to shoot pool, I take off my glasses and leave um in the truck........And I always come back and hop in the truck and remember half way home that I'm sitting on um

So now they no workey. All brokey. I don't care though. Who needs to see anyways

Ah yes panzerglasses as we used to call them I think they look pretty much the same way here as in the US. Black plastic bows, huge thick glass and metal (whatever you call them) that snuggs tightly around the ears. Understandable I only used mine when we were out in the field...

I wear contacts because then if i want to play football at skool or something i dont have to worry about breaking them (and the glasses would probably take my face with them). Ive got a small scar under my right eye where by glasses cut me once, from then on i decided to go for contacts. I really want to get laser surgery at some point though.
I shall vote for contacts cos thats what i normally wear, even though atm im wearing glasses cos ive got a bout of conjunctivitis in both my eyes, so im not allowed

I wear glasses and love them to death! My normal street glasses are small and light but they still save my eyes from debris. I tend to do alot of mechanical work where eye protection is a huge plus and have my ultra geeky OSHA approved safety glasses for that. I could tell you stories about glasses saving my eyes from shrapnel from all kinds of stuff (chemical processing) but i'll quit bragging about them.
