Need DMM training to check +12v

    Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I've searched everywhere on the net and here to get an idea of how not to mess up your stuff while using DMM.

Is there any links anyone knows of that gives you a basic rundown on good Multimeter basics.

I have a new Pc Power & Cooler turbo 510 and Lanparty software is showing my 12 volt rail in the low 11s.

So can anyone pleazzzzzzzzze point me in the right direction.

I don't want to jack up all my new goodies

By the way I got a piece of ***** Sperry DMA 350A from Home Depot.

In the molex connector, you have to:

    1. Select the apropriate mode for the MM. Anything above 12v DC, of course.

    2. Put you negative lead (usualy black) on a ground point. Can be your case, or insert it in the molex following one of the black wires.

    3. Insert Positive lead (usualy red) in the molex. Follow yellow wire = 12v rail, red wire = 5v rail.
