i have decided to invest in a dvd burner and will be doing some encoding and stuff. i may also get a tv tuner pci card. i still would like anybodies comments on a quality gpu waterblock for my 9800pro. i have ocz copper ramsinks mounted, so i need the tubing and barbs to clear those (higher-sitting block). so, to get the rig running..., i need:
-gpu w.b.
-2x dtek pro heatercores
-1/2" ID tubing (suggestions?)
-reservoir
and later.. the case!
i really really am getting the itch to get this project finished, because i am starting to get pretty excited about it and all, so i will be re-organizing my finances to compensate
u dont need a case!@111 they are overrated anyways

for mad clocks on yer 9800, get a MCW50-T. that is...if your PSU can handle it. If not, there doesnt seem to be any normal gpu waterblock that outperforms the others. so any DD or swifty block will be good.

You still going with the cube case Far?
I like my women the way I like my processors...naked.
I am not the HellFire that writes bios files. I work strictly on voltage modifications.

whats your status bro?

well, i've decided to go with the mcw-50t on me 9800pro. currently saving up so i can buy all water cooling stuff at once, and thewn get the rig running. then the case
It's not worth using the MCW50-T on a 9800pro or xt unless you replace the original 80w peltier with a 172w. At 80w, the MCW-T can't really handle the thermal output of an overclocked 9800pro.
I was mainly gonna get the mcw50-t because i know it sits higher due to the pelt under it, and therefore the barbs will clear my ramsinks.Originally posted by gkiing

Even With a 172 watt pelt on my MCW50-T and cooling it with -16C chilled ethanol/glycol mix on a 9800XT, The GPU still runs @9/12C under load(3DMark2001se).
This is measured with my Fluke 52 probe at the side edge of the GPU Chip.

faruquehabib, I've taken the liberty to sell my Dual Xeon
I'm going for the new P4 Gigabyte with 64bit PCI-X and a 3.0 or 3.2 Prescot, aircooled
I needed more HD space
24 core Xeon:
2x Intel Xeon Q3QS 'ES' @ 4.1GHz (folding@3.8GHz) - (flakey) EVGA SR-2 - 2x Antec Kühler 620 - 6x 4GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz CL8 - MSI GTX580 Twin Frozr II/OC - Thermalright Shaman - 2x Intel X25-M 80GB RAID0 - Silverstone Strider 1200W Gold - Lian Li PC-P80
in the process of getting my 2 dtek pro cores...the ones that dtek doesnt make anymore
I wish I could afford a new Opteron 140 rig
Too bad I want 64 bit PCI-X, and the memory-per-cpu thing

what game is the server for?
I got to 2.4 gihz with my 246 on a sk8n. I found that the 144 and 244 OC the best for some reason.
I got a 240 to 1.9 gihz
PyroTeknik,
The gameserver is for a co-worker and I's upcoming website pcgamersclub.com, currently we host instances of NeverWinterNights, BF1942 reg & DC, soon BF:Vietnam. Currently home to =PGC= and (S&D) clans.
The server is up and running now, if anyone would like to join us the ip is: 205.245.84.143
