Help me finish my watercooling setup.

well, its just an entry level one, so nothing to fancy.

    The waterblock is a MCW5000-A

So, its 3/8 ID set up. Now my question, what pump and what res?

Possibly the Eheim 1250? or the hydor L30, or the Via Aqua 1300, those are my 3 choices basically

    http://www.vibecomputers.com/index.c...f=n&vID=190661

my question is, what about hte fittings? it says the suction fittings are 3/4" , and pressure side is 1/2" , so whats going on here?

same goes for the res, this one for example, http://www.vibecomputers.com/index.c...f=n&vID=191600

say half inch fittings, is this OD or ID?

finally, totally inline, or res? your opinion?

i know i know, lots of questions, sorry, but new to watercooling

The swiftech give the OD size will the others gives the ID one,
From my experience, if you have room go with the 1/2 ID, most hardware have this size now
I think there's a barb sold by swiftech to switch from 1/2 OD to 1/2 ID i advice you to get it and then get everything 1/2 ID
I'm a fan of the T line but then it depends on your preferences
Don't worry to ask any questions you have here, but also search the forum and the net for more info there's a lot of good information if you look well and have time

Yea. Go 1/2" all the way. You'll be glad you did. The swifty block is available in 1/2" ID fittings. For the pump, get the swiftech mcp600. Very nice, high pressure pump, and definitely worth the extra money. Inline "T" is better than a res because you don't have a still body of water in your system, which gives you better flow rates.

well, ive already got the block, so its going to have to be 3/8" ID setup.

    still wondering about the fittings.

Yeah, definitely get the barbs as 1/2" will benefit you. They just go straight into the swifty like adapters (I used to have a MCW5000 as well). They're only a couple bucks anyway.
