sorry, but your questions often seem ridiculous. for example switch cores of 2 C2D processors, now you want to mod your 700W PSU to a 1200W PSU ? please understand you have no knowledge of doing all that.

Here is one idea take your 700w PSU sell it then use the money towards a 1200w unit. I am going to assume that you have limited knowledge in electronics and even less knowledge in SMPS. Either you start reading ON semi is a good place to start, then find a good book on pcb layout, Buy expensive PCB layout software. By the time you have finished reading, learning, making mistakes and cost you could probably buy 15 1200w PSU's

Well, generally you are absolutely right. The real problem is that he doesn't seem to want to learn anything. If he would, he'd already contacted someone to help him express his questions.

If you really wanted help and you realized that the members here can't understand a single question that you posed, then you'd sure accept the offered help to get your question formulated, in order to get a good answer. But if you just keep on posting nonsense, your concern can't be the answers to your questions.

That's what makes it even more nonsense for me.

Help was offerered and obviously ignored and IMHO there's no answer to an unkown question.

There aren't any ways to mod a powersupply to have more watt (well there is, but thats too complicated and expensive)
Just buy yourself a new powersupply if you need more watts/amps.

there is no way you can mod a psu to give it more output.

There are ways where you can fix 2 psus to 1 system, that is something you might want to look into.

If you want to run dual PSU's, there's a sticky about it at the top of this section. There's also a sticky there for increasing the output voltage of a power supply.
I would not suggest trying to run dual PSU's. From your posts, it doesn't seem like you understand what you are doing and you could easily damage hardware running dual PSU's.

If you have to post a thread about increasing the power from a power supply, don't even consider opening the box. There are voltages present inside the power supply long after powering it off. If you don't understand exactly what you are doing, you could very easily kill yourself and the power supply.

Theoretically, it should be possible to increase the output power of a power supply, but it would involve a lot of work and knowlege of how the supply works. If you want more power from a power supply, go and buy a new one or live with what you've got.
