My old ss does not hold load - needs more r507 ?

    Hey !

Got my old ss from the basement, it started fine and dropped to -50C like I remembered.
After noticing that under cpu load the evap temp will sky rocket I started investigating.

Going down to -50C~ takes about 3mins... I think I remember it was much faster, testing 10700KF at stock (90W-100W~) the evap temp rise from -50C to -36C in about 2mins (cpuz stress) and will continue to rise slowly.

    -36C in 2mins
    -33C in 4mins
    -30C in 6mins
    -28C in 10mins

My ss is DIY using NF11FX (iirc) chilly1 evap and a copper 120mm condenser.

I do not have my old pressure gauges, could be I just need to add some coolant ? (r507)

    Thanks !

    Update:

The unit was missing some R507 for sure, after adding some and tuning it under load the capacity is around 170W @ -30C - just like I built it for 10-15 years ago....
The compressor spec (NL11F) is 140-170W @ -30C so thats it for this compressor / unit.

    I think I'm going for a stronger unit, ~18cc (11cc current) going for 400W @ -40C ~

    Cheers !
