    UPS overload Question

I have a 510 watt rated UPS and i just ordered a 3090 and I'm wondering if I overload the UPS when gaming or something when its running on AC power from the wall will it be okay I just need the battery for idle use not to shut down for like 1 minute just so I can safely shut down

thanks for the help in advance

I use this ups with a 1080ti and 8700k right now and it only draws like 140 watts idle and I assume the 3090 and 8700k in idle will not be over 510 watts
BTK is my initials if you were wondering.

    Hi

I have the same cpu and i tested many GPUs include power results 2 weeks ago.

there is no difference between 1080ti, 2070, 2080, 2080ti and 3080 in idle but everything will be different in load

the picture above (8700K + 3080) shows 66 watts (idle) as i reach same results with RTX 2000 and 1080Ti. when the gpu is not load the numbers are still close to each other. off course the cpu was working on oc mode (4.7 @ 1.28v) and this number on stock mode was 55 watts. I reached 568 watts for load test (cpu stock-OCCT Power test + Furmark 4K - Run simultaneously). if the card is 3090, 568watt goes to 600watts.

so dont worry about idle mode and if you run games and others GPU driven programs, you have 1 hour because all of them eat lower power than that heavy stress test
