Which mother board would you choose????

I am looking at either the ASRock X570 EXTREME4 or the ASUS Prime X570-Pro.

I have looked at review after review after review after review after review after review, oops, I kind of got stuck because I just wanted you to get the feel of what I've been doing.

I think I just want to pick some of your brains on what you think. Has anyone experienced both boards?

Just a little push would help me out. Thanks.

I personally find some of the B550 boards as good as or better than there midrange counterparts. Me personally I would always go bottom of top end so hero tachi master x570. I think in that category probably the vrm/thermals of the gigabyte and asus being the better this time around. Would it matter? depends on if you upgrade to something robust especially with new chips days away. I think it's better to just hold off for time being. Get an idea of power draw/clocks/core count of the new cpu's. Better vrm/thermals may play a larger factor if core count increases and or tdp increases at which point a more educated suggestion can be given.

I actually have now have decided on a different board. I am now after much research going with an ASUS ROG STRIX B550-A GAMING. Just some things seem to be not needed on my build that the 570 has. I don't like the other little fan on the board for sure.

I got the Asus TUF Gaming B550 Plus MATX and I love it. Rock solid so far. 4 DIMM slots, two (or three?) NVME slots, pretty sure it has SLI or crossfire support... Most of all, it has Optical Audio out, 2.5 Gig ethernet onboard!! Was $160 / $170 and there is a wifi version for about $10 more. PCIE Gen 4.0, USB type C Gen 3.2 (and 5 Gen 3.2 Type A ports) also will take 128 GB RAM)

    EDIT:
AMD B550 (Ryzen AM4) ATX gaming motherboard with PCIe 4.0, dual M.2, 10 DrMOS power stages, 2.5 Gb Ethernet, HDMI, DisplayPort, SATA 6 Gbps, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A and Type-C, and Aura Sync RGB lighting support
