Been gone a while, anyone still around?

Wow, this place is quiet! Well, I am headed back onto the breach! Wanna build a ryzen 7 system. What company is big these days? I used to use all Swiftech.

Probably the most popular these days:

    Blocks - EK
Pumps - Swiftech/EK/Alphacool based on Laing (not much has changed here)
    Tubing - Primochill
Radiators - Hardware Labs / EK

What kind of coolant and additives would you recommend for the longest 27/7/365 operation before having to drain and clean a custom loop? And how long would that be before doing it?

distilled water and copper sulfate is still the way to go. Loops should be drained, cleaned, and refilled every 2-3 years.

CES was allegedly the vector to spread around the US. It may have been floating around vegas, but con flu was covid early this year.

It's been years, I feel so out of the loop!

Been struggling with temps on a W3680 (don't judge, 6 Cores at 4.x GHz only just became mainstream, welcome to 2010, you're going to love it) since adding a GPU block and extra radiator. Probably going to go dual loop.

So, I discovered my old pump from 2011, booted right up! Put in a Monsoon DDC Reservoir, it started making a grinding sound, and died. LOL!! okay.

My system from 2013 is running like a champ! Monsoon dual bay res gen 1, 420 Swiftech QP, 320 Swiftech QP, 220 Swiftech QP, various fittings, primochill tubing, Kamodo block for the 7970 and Apogee Drive CPU/pump.

I don't think I should risk using this pump for this new build, it's 7 years old, and still works, but it's 7 years old!

I got a 5700 Liquid Devil, 18 Monsoon compressions fittings, a Monsoon Dual Bay, Gen 2 with DDC mount, new Primochll tubing, and PWM fans. I need my new CPU and MB. It's cool to be back in the game! Hello everybody!
