    Sandberg Wireless Charger Black Marble

    Introduction

Are you still charging your devices with a wire? What is this, 2017? Nowadays, wireless charging is becoming the norm and why not? It's super convenient and less of a hassle. As an added bonus, a wireless charger can double as desk decor if you find the right device and this classy Sandberg Wireless Charger Black Marble makes you look super profesh.

The Sandberg Wireless Charger Black Marble has the following specifications:

    Packaging & Contents

The Wireless Charger Black Marble come in a nice retail box. On the front there is a large photo of the unit. The overall design is eye-catching and definitely something that would be a nice looking gift.

Moving at the rear we find a few words about the product in 24 languages right over the bundle contents and the product specifications.

You open the case and you find the charging pad in a plastic case. I just loved the look of the product. Minimal branding, sleek design and it feels premium.

    A Closer Look

This wireless charging pad features black, white, or pink marble, with unique, contrasting vein patterns for an opulent look. The color LED indicates when it's charging,

It is compact enough to fit in the palm of your hand.

It also features a super slim design.

There are four rubber feet on the bottom of the charger, which help to prevent it from sliding around.

    Input/Output.

    Full International Safety Approvals.

    Performance

Sandberg's Black Marble is a Qi charger, which means it will pretty much charge any phone or smartwatch, that supports wireless charging. But what separates this from the rest is the fast charging. The Sandberg Wireless Charger Black Marble is capable of pumping out a maximum output of 10W. It's capable of charging a Samsung Galaxy phone, but you will need to pair it with a fast wall charger as you only get a Micro USB to USB-A cable in the box. With a regular 5V charger, the maximum output you will get is 5W.

Now, due to the design, the entire front surface is used for the inductive charging aka. wireless charging. You can place your device anyhow and 99% of the time, it will end up charging. Since the wireless charger is Qi certified, it can charge almost all your devices that support wireless charging. For example, I could charge Apple Watch, Galaxy Watch, iPhone XS Max, Samsung Note 10, etc.

To test the power output and the charging process, I used the following 3 devices.

    Samsung Galaxy Note 9
    Google Pixel 3
    Apple iPhone XS Max

I used a Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 charger which you would get with a Pixel or Samsung Note devices. So, the graph below shows the charging speed of the 3 devices.

As you can see, the Samsung Galaxy Note charges the fastest in 3 hours 35 minutes. The reason being Samsung Galaxy Note 9 can accept an input of 10W. While the slowest is the Apple iPhone XS Max which takes 4 hours to max out. But, it can accept a max wireless output of only 7.5W. So actually, the slowest was the Pixel 3 which took exactly 3 hours 49 minutes to charge a smaller 2915 mAh. In my testing, Samsung Galaxy Note 9 turned out to be the fastest to wirelessly charge. It has a massive 4000 mAh battery and took around 3 and a half hours to fully charge.

    Final Thoughts

The marble designs look great on your desk, at the kitchen counter, or even in a busy coffee shop. And the best part is - Sandberg didn't sacrifice any of the technology to make it beautiful. The Wireless Charger Black Marble is Qi enabled, has fast charging, and supplies a full 10W of power.

The meteor was the end of the dinosaurs. Now, this stone-look charging pad is the end of the charging cable. Don't be the guy holding a smartphone when touch screens took over, get in on the wireless revolution today! This marble-look fast wireless charger gives you a smooth style for a pleasant price($35.99). Sandberg does have a strong reputation and also includes a 5 years warranty which covers your device if something happens during regular intended use of the charging pad.
