    After a long pause i did dive deep into the workstation/productivity territory again and made 40 tests for different memory configurations:

    ECC vs. non-ECC
    single channel vs. dual channel vs. quad channel
    16 GB vs. 32 GB
    overclocked timings vs. default timings


    If you are working with workstation and productivity apps, then you definitely need to know if you ain't wasting money for the memory you might not need at all! This is Intel Xeon related only.
