Thats nice to hear. All other reviews are pretty much useless.
We need to know, how it clocks the ram, and more importantly, what is exactly the situation with fans on these things.
Do they have passive mode ?
How much rpms they go to ?
Can we manually set fan curves ?
    How hot is it ?

User opinions are more on the bad side, but there is nothing definitive. And i wont buy a board if it has delta speed fans with no controls on it :-/ .
    Im looking towards taichi personally.

As far as memory goes it clocks good but you lose a 1/1 after 3600 (1800/1800) divider with nb making over 3600 fairly pointless so tighten it up @ 3600 and send it.

Thats a physical hardware design limitation. Way around it but probably not beneficial realworld 24/7.

Ill let you know on the other stuff once in hand.

Word is the 3950x is delayed why they bin more 8 core chiplets. So I think it might as long as it can be cooled well. My 3900x runs on the warm side lol

Well ac in my house went out. So keep in mind my ambient is about 80. But loads in the upper 70's

I think it might be the offset of the dies. So I'm printing up a new pair of am4 mounts with my SLA printer as well as a water block mount to test and see if I moved that block so the cores are in the center if I can get a few c drop.

But in cpuz's Benchmark single core with pbo I'm getting 537.8 so not bad. And I'm waiting to see how well things get after they start to optimize.

Here is the comparison system. I guess its not a bad chip but not a great chip.

For all intended purposes I will be running it stock with some tweaks since while it Ocs decent for a 9900K its a very very hot piece of glass @ 1.4v @5.1 it can exceed 100c on a dark rock pro 4 under full loads.

I run it stock due to this and the fact that in gaming the oc nets little to no gains vs the temps that get out of hand so how I run it is how I test it.

Thats a loooooong wait dude , but yea, thubans were great, i had fx later but it was a wash ,not really worth the upgrade. Now im on some old intel, but im getting a ryzen 3000 when the dust settles .
Im just not that excited about the whole x570 thing , my pc at idle/low load is QUIET. And i want it to stay that way.The way mainboards are reviewed these days is not my cup of tea.I need data, not information on oled screens and led connectors.

Yah. As you probably know. I dig into hardware. Led is the devil and i usually disable them. Solder to back of socket find out voltages and just focus on funtion over form. How much droop. How much llc to almost eliminate droop but not over shoot. Bios function, bugs, workarounds. Overall ease of use and oc. Kudos are given to boards that require the least tinkering for stability for avg users. More tinkering is suggested for the crowd that well like to tweak.

True Story, good things come to those who wait!
I thought about jumping back in since the 1090, but they just weren't competing, I wasn't using my desktop very much, didn't really wanna spend the $ on subpar performance, and I don't do intel unless it's my work laptop.
I don't even really NEED to build anything, but I'm finally excited enough for AMD to most likely do it, and gaming is something I miss doing.
Unfortunately this will require CPU/Mobo/Mem/VCard AND OS as well, so not sure how I wanna go about it money wise, I may just get a 470...still TBD.

No LEDS please, geez I see some of the reviews with the flashing leds and I SMH. To each their own, but nah, I'm good!

I got my x470 gaming 7 just for the excessive amount of RGB LED's lol. And it was pretty much spot on max oc as my crosshair vii but pbo for some reason hit higher on it and I could always push memory about 100.hz higher.
