    why not just test with direct contect and see whats comes up in this case then?

    My thought exactly, I forget who made it, but there was a direct contact water block I saw on the market not to long ago. It would be something if companies just sold a handful with a direct contact water block pre-attached, soldered on. I would pay an extra 100~200 for that.

    Direct contact may not be a must but it is definitely a should for overclocking. With the deliding tools hit the market I am waiting to see more of these direct contact coolers. Especially air and closed loop liquid coolers.
