The news is bad, Hardware.fr is closing.

I wish there is more people like them in hardware press, in high quality news, and content.

Yeah, they don't publish a lot of articles, and that's good in my mind. You should realy read their files. Their files were the best ever on quality and technical informations. In my mind, they were the reference of performance measurement in PC hardware. I never found as good as Hardware.fr for fair compare, even on english content.

Why did they shut down?

If you read the goodbye article, they say after 21 years the points that made them stop ;

-Less inovations from manufacturers
-the loss of Damien, he left to AMD
-Difficulty to rise money from this.
-21 years is long

The forum will continue to live. And there is a lot of people using it.
