AMD recently announced that the first Ryzen processors will become available in laptops soon, expected was 2018. however, AMD also announced the HP Envy x360, Lenovo Ideapad 720S and Acer Swift 3. From the first model, some benchmarks have been posted.
Notebookcheck was the party that had a peek at the laptop that has been fitted with a Ryzen 5 2500U processor. Prior to benchmarks, they gave the laptop a warmup session, clock frequencies the guys, however, do not have as CPU-Z was not reporting back the proper frequencies.
The Ryzen 5 2500U CPU scored 137 points (single threaded) in CineBench 15 with a multi-threaded score of 574 points. 3DMark 11 scored 2918 points on the APU with a 3602 GPU score at 1280x720 pixels.
