    Bios question on new build

    I have a question about a proper bios setting after a new build of mine. I put in an NVME OS drive, an NVME media cache drive, an SSD media drive and a HDD storage drive. Well, it is a new build with UEFI and after realizing the importance after reading formatting them in GPT.

    My question is about the bios section where it starts with Windows 10 Features. I have read many articles on this with many conflicting each other. What would you do and why?

    Windows 10 Features -

    Other OS

    Windows 10

    Windows 10 WHQL

    What should I set as default?

    CSM Support - enable or disable If I disable then it changes the following items and they are gone.

    Storage Boot Option Control

    Disabled

    Legacy

    UEFI only

    Other PCI Device Rom Priority

    Disable

    Legacy

    UEFI only

    Network Stack dis or enabled

    you should set boot to uefi only, and if you want to use fast boot you need to turn on secure boot and load your keys.

    I'm confused now. When I change to CSM disabled there is no choice for UEFI only. It goes away.

    legacy support -> disable
    csm -> disable
    uefi/legacy boot -> uefi only
    boot mode -> no legacy support
    boot priority -> uefi first

    Where is the legacy support? That is not a choice in my bios. When I disable csm, there is no optio for the ones listed below either. They disappear.

    the first one looks right, and if you want the uefi fast boot you need to enable secure boot after windows is installed, delete the keys, then generate the keys, then save and exit.
