Looking at getting a Fiesta St or Focus ST myself in the near future if possible. I wan't the FiST as it is probably more fun to drive plus its cheaper $, but the FoST has more room for when I want to cram my 10yr and 4yr old boys in the back and go for a spin or to the store or etc. etc....any reason to get in and drive it! I like to put it this way:
If you can afford it as a second car, get the FiST. It's by far the most fun vehicle Ford makes - and it's not even close. I would literally prefer using a FiST on city roads over a Shelby or even GT just because you can actually push it to the very max safely. Whereas you'd just be barely tapping the potential of a GT350 (which is rather boring imo).

However, it just is not a great commuter car. I bought the FoST purely because it is more refined and soaks up potholes. You feel everything transmitted through the FiST (and good luck convincing an adult to sit in the rear). Not quite a s fun, but the FoST is a really well balanced vehicle for the price.

Haha lol...I feel the same! More fun to drive a slower car fast than a fast car slow.

    2 thoughts:
    1) Befriend a Ford engineer. A-Plan will save you ~10%.
    2) If you live in cold weather and can afford it, get the ST3 package. Heated seats + mirrors is a life safer in Michigan. Wish you could get those as cloth options, but such is life.

Btw if anyone thinks we are off topic....a VEGA is a very desirable car to shove a small block in with twin turbos or a procharger so put a sock in it

Small turbos - use 2 if you have to - are the way to go imo. If you really want a race car, just get something tiny and drop a v8 in it LOL.
that only works when you have an electronic boost controller so you boost by flow. with a manual boost controller you boost by psi so the small turbo will blow up. things for small v8 are also the same for big 4 bangers so the big turbo for an evo or sti are cheap and efficient for stock small v8 if you have the right boost controller. i would bet stock a 305 only flows like 180-200 g/s at best and with 10 lbs low 6-7lbs up top it would flow around 250g/s and would make like 340hp and 450lbs of torque. my subi flows like 280g/s and makes around 300-315 WHP and 380 wheel torque (i think 385/425 was the estimated crank.) it also makes tasty flat power.

twin turbo also adds a bunch of cost on single intake engines.

Vega prices still insane. One wonders what people are doing with the things since they aren't any better than Polaris for mining ETH, at least from an efficiency perspective. Not sure what is the use case for them. Unless maybe XMR.

Er - at OCUK, the Vega 56 is 399, while the cheapest 1080 is 469 - still, the prices are insane here.

I refuse to participate in any debate with creationists because doing so would give them the "oxygen of respectability" that they want.
Creationists don't mind being beaten in an argument. What matters to them is that I give them recognition by bothering to argue with them in public.

Scan has got them for GBP469 cheapest, but the small difference between the two cards is still a bit silly. Didn't check OCUK, but never would I buy anything anymore from overclockers anyway.

    Yesterday I saw a custom Vega 64 at a shop ( they had 1 piece ).
