    [AMD]AM4 APU Bistrol Bridge A8-9600

My old HTPC Media PC board died on me half months ago ,
That rig was an FM2 ITX board with a A10-5700.

We just got AM4 ITX board available in local store, so I decided why not get a AM4 board to replace it. Sadly AM4 APU is not available and my ITX rig case can't fit in a graphic card. So I have to source for AM4 APU. Zen APU won't launch for another few months. The case is Antec ISK-310 if you want to know.

Finally I found some online store from Aliexpress (China) , and some of them selling AMD Tray CPU/APUs , as there are so many remark / fake CPU , I go for the one with "retail box" and warranty,

This is the one I bought it from China online store last week
When I saw the IHS said "Made in China"
I feared if it is a Fake / counterferit
However, it does work with my AM4 ITX board (Biostar B350GTN)

    just to share some picture

I guess I can stick with it until Zen APU arrive

    - The heatsink the boxset came with is similar with Athlon II x2 type (65W)
    - The CPU support only DDR4-2133 and 2400 (Max) , can't boot with anything higher than DDR4-2400.

    - The whole platform full load takes around 60W
    - Performance wise it is compatible with A8-7600....

It's amazing that AMD has taken so long to sell these anywhere. I really wanted the A12-9800 back in November in a B350 motherboard. Never happened.

And you should not be surprised by the RAM speed limitations. It's basically the same IMC as Carrizo, which in turn is basically the Kaveri IMC. Very limited in what it can do.

I don't expect it will go high up , but DDR4-2400 is the upper limit is a bit sad
One thing I found out about this board is it seems have compatibility with Intel 600p M2 SSD, it can't detect it
