    Crosshair VI Monoblock

Not having any AM4 parts on hand, do you guys think it's worth having a monoblock, other than looks?
Seems like a waste of money, but I'd like some opinions.

    On C6H...not necessary.

I've got no strings to hold me down.
To make me fret, or make me frown.
I had strings but now I'm free.
There are no strings on me

    Thanks Chew*.
Yeah, I'm hoping to see a monoblock for a non-asus board, but I won't hold my breath.

It's 137 USD. Not cheap, but seems to be priced appropriately.

I really wonder why there is a push towards monoblocks recently. I much prefer having standalone blocks for the CPU/VRM/Chipset, that way the CPU cooling is not tied to a particular mobo.
