Verizon is giving it's customers two options, (residential & business accounts) Transfer to AOL and keep your xxxxxx .verizon.net address or use some other Hotmail account. But choosing going to AOL, myself and my customers are exposed to all AOL adware. Plus I'm losing support from Verizon who I pay for internet and email plus support. They said nothing about lowering my bills since they want out of the email business. They still want my internet business, phone (landline & cell) and TV.

Anyone here use or have opinions about ProtonMail https://protonmail.com/ ? Or know of a email I can use that doesn't swamp you with adware? I don't mind paying for good service.

I really hate to lose my .Verizon.net address that I've had since Verizon got into the internet business (DSL) 15 or 20 years ago.

Any advice would be a great help , I'm at a loss and need options/advice.
