I *would* say 32m 4ghz but we require more memory options at this point.

how about.... slowest 1m, or target time. makes buy in low as its a 2d bench and it takes tweaking and skill vs a fat wallet.

I don't like any "slowest something" or "target" challenges. This is not overclocking for me, moreover here we are in xtremesystems.
And I'm from the kind who likes to push things to their limits.

    My 2 cents.

    2 contests

    one for boards with refclock

    one for boards without refclock

Otherwise everyone on a non ref clock board is screwed......

4 gig is benchable on just about any board and cpu.

No windows 10......its compromised even in 3d

So a bunch of guys buying cpus off silicon lottery @ 629 a wack can wallet win?

Nah plus prime from non credible sources is to easy to cheat....its been compromised since forever.

    8760 hours prime stable.........

Smart people can tell based on iteration/hours ran and just the amount of work that has been done.....but to much work for those running comp to deal with....

So let me EDIT my original suggestion..... NO windows 10 and ALL OS easily compromised benchmarks........

And now I have to start over from scratch on prime 95 again ......grrr

whoever can clock highest and has the most run time and points on WCG for the duration of the contest wins.

24/7 idle is nothing, let's do 24/7 load

if the reward is hardware it sucks when they are about the best numbers only. it rewards people who have the hardware the same as the giveaway or better with more of it. those also suck since even if you dont have the best hardware you dont want to post early to make it a challenge for someone who might not have posted, like the current contest that is going on.

i dont know of the logistics, but a drawing where you get an one entry per person per event and you have to beat the last person to get a ticket for the selected bench event. that way people post, it rewards getting things done quick, and people will try for scores.

finalizing the prize, should be anytime soon...
first requirement would be a minimum post of 100 per user to enter, so get posting before the contest start...
