    Sounds about right.

Unless if Vega is $400, this will probably be my next upgrade.

What a beast... But I think its a pipe dream to expect this will sell for $699 without any competition from AMD. So I will wait for Vega and hope that it does something enough to make prices cheaper.

Man alive, what an utter beast of a monster card. Faster then Titan X and overclocks nicely still. 394w and only 84c.

    Is this for real?

thats full system power use the gpu is more like 250w (230-270) edging towards 300w overclocked
not that different to titan x

wait for vega? is there anything to suggest they are going to release anything more than a gtx 1070-1080 competitor with the rx 480 revision rx 580 any time soon? there top end hbm2 model seems to have disappeared
still if rumors are true we should know more in ~20 days time how long till we see something other than founders edition anyway?

bulk HMB2 does not ship till april at the earliest and is expected at june now from hynx. the amd card cannot come out before that. the maximum switching frequency also seems quite bad for the samsung 16nm global foundries is using (based on the ryzen and RX) so i would not expect more than 1400mhz from vega and it wont work out well with 4096 shaders and 1400mhz but will nuke an overclocked 1080.

edit, as a side note, i really wanted to see some one bench this against the fury pro. it looks like the fury pro is still the best single card so long as you dont need more than 4GB of vram per gpu.
