I am not really aware of to many big density kits that are not bdie.

Really went above my means on this one financially and capability? wise. Originally had no intentions of working on it as I find myself at a loss to fully utilize it (TR and 64gb). I had discussed this with AMD already.

Was asked to by a vendor or shall i say an overclocker i respect who works for one.

I think i have the real world use or shall I say user that can actually show real world use covered now. I will do my report. Pretune it then pass it off and see what he comes up with.

This is the best I can really come up with for the OC community/workstation crowd which I think its marketed more towards.
    Before you pass it off,
BF3/4/1 is not HT/SMT aware but can utilize 13 threads or 8cores 100%
    Fluidmark can use 12cores 100%
remember physx tanking with amd cpu, but what about now

    Yah i am aware.

I am also aware of results like this.

    Attachment 132381

    Attachment 132382

That leans towards a potential way for me to "use" the cpu for my needs and follows my mantra of chasing the best performance possible. If the trend continues which i will not confirm or deny the 12c model smt disabled could be desirable for gaming maybe even better than an 1800x.

Then we need to look at cost vs rumored cost.

    Avg x370 $199 avg 1800 $450

Vs rumored pricing of $800 1920x and boards in the $400? Range.

At that point it goes back to the price vs performance argument.

Windows 7 is trash for 32M.
I did not even bother to run copy waza nor use Windows 2003 TW like I used to do back in the days.
Just plain Windows XP with the usual registry trick and 5 running services.
CPU clock 4 GHz, DRAM frequency 2933 MHz, main timings 16-18-14-14-36-72 1T.

    Cool.

Problem is when cold may have issues with add on cards and bclk.

Also no clue how it will like gen 1 but least its good for the 4.0 range.

Certainly will be problematic on c6h. That board needs bclk to be fast.

The gigabytes were the fastest thus far in our testing.

Very nice. I got some addon cards as well, but my system is not working atm, so I will get back to it when I get replaced what has died - hope that's the board and not the CPU.

I do not think thats an add on card.

Thats VM in linux at least it looks like it.

Btw the loops do not look "right" actually make no sense.

    Is VM legal on bot?

Chew might be right, I just did some creative thinking.
No idea if it is legal or not, I like to mess around and play with things.

VM is not legal (on bot) and those iterations are not correct, maybe someone was adjusting Mhz during bench?

Too easy to change VM performance to cheat benchmark results.

Not really. Buy one based on features you need at the pricepoint that fits your budget. Avoid the cheaper vrm models.

I do not like your accusations and the tone of your post.
Host OS is Fedora, how exactly would I change the CPU clock speed in Linux?
As long as I know there is not a single Linux utility that can do that and I sure as hell am not wasting my time writing one just to post a single screenshot in this thread.

I think he is just clarifying the rules for hwbot which i was unsure of.

Also as i pointed out the loops look out of wack.

One way to get that to happen aside from just being a buggy run is changing clocks on the fly so i think he is just making an observation mafio.

    So being I'm running at DRAM V @ 1.36V, I should set VREF V to 0.725V?

    snip..........

Unfortunately on my Titanium all I have for DRAM voltages is:
    DRAM Voltage: Default 1.2V / Mine 1.35V
DRAM VPP Voltage: Default 2.5V / Mine 2.5V
    DRAM CH_A VREF Voltage: Default 0.6V / Mine 0.6V
    DRAM CH_B VREF Voltage: Default 0.6V / Mine 0.6V

Oh how I miss the days when terminology was much simpler

    snip......
Did you ever find out if our motherboards have setting for VTT DDR voltages?

Ive got a set of F4-3600C15D-16GTZ that are complete dogs and Im doing my best to work out why!

    Hello.

Can someone give me some information.
I know it is not an Xpower, but in MSI krait B350, there are two jumper JOV1 and JOV2, I think it is jumper for overvoltage. (I think in Xpower also exist)
On the website and in the manual does not make any reference to these two jumpers.
I already inserted them, but in the bios neither option appears nor the voltage limit gets higher.
    Maintains maximum vcore of 1.55v

Does it need any bios, or mod for the jumper to work?

They probably shut off the feature. 1.55v is already board death territory for b350 vrms..

    OK thank you Chew

I wanted to try a larger OC in a 1300x.
so far with DICE, I only managed to go at 4.6Ghz.
with the cold bug imc / ram , at -70?C the memories do not rise more than 2400mhz + -.

air or Wc, my Bdie gskill do 3333 / 3466Mhz.
I wanted to test in Ln2 to see if I can get more in the memories, but I'm limited by the 1.55v on the CPU.

Get another board, to get more voltage.

Does the higher binned chips clock any better? Memory OC etc

chew* can you give me an advice of which chip to buy.
