[News] First pictures of X370 motherboards packaging emerge

Gigabyte?s and BioStar?s X370 motherboards have already been shown in detail, but so far the pictures of the packaging were not published as AMD was still finishing the guidelines on how to promote Ryzen motherboards.

It appears that each motherboard will have a small Ryzen logo and appropriate information about the chipset (let it be X370 or B350). Unfortunately, the packaging does not mention support for ?Ryzen 7 1800X? or anything like that, so that part is still not officially confirmed.

Biostar Rules! AMD budget OCers best friend! I hope they perform as well as the old 1156 th55xe. best inexpensive subzero clocking board of that era.

    remember this?

I wonder how many people will mistakenly buy x370 boards thinking it were an Intel part :P

Well the best extreme ocer candidate by my eyes is the hero thus far. If you notice it has an 8 + 4 power connectors.

Of course...that alone does not make a board great....but there is a max draw an 8 pin is capable of handling and delivering.

    Interesting to say the least.

I've got no strings to hold me down.
To make me fret, or make me frown.
I had strings but now I'm free.

Can't wait to see what mini ITX boards will come out for AM4. Looking to upgrade to a tiny PC that packs a punch and will be interested in what AMD has to offer vs. Intel.

More AM4 boards revealed in this link:

I like the Gigabyte AORUS X370 Gaming K7, I might get that to replace my old aging AM3 Phenom II 955 setup along with the flagship CPU or whatever.
