Trump abandons US-EU Data Shield agreement

    http://www.fudzilla.com/news/42732-t...ield-agreement

The US-EU Data Shield agreement which took years to negotiate and enabled US cloud companies to operate in Europe has been squashed by President Donald (Prince of Orange) Trump.

The agreement allowed US companies to transfer the personal data of Europeans to the US while ensuring that the companies operate within compliance of Europe's more stringent privacy laws.

The deal was greeted with a sigh of relief from 1,500 US companies including Apple, Google and Microsoft which had agreed to abide by the Data Shield agreement. But it required the US Department of Commerce to ensure that American companies complied.

Trump signed an executive order earlier this week which strips any non-US citizen of any privacy rights they might have. The idea is that this will give the US the power to spy on foreigners. It is aimed at enhancing domestic immigration laws.

However, it kills off the US part of the Data Shield agreement, opens the current administration up to sanctions by the EU. Basically it means that any EU data which ends up in the US will not be protected and the US can open it and read it.

The move will make it nearly impossible for US companies to do digital business in the EU. It will go back to the time before the framework agreement where the EU did not want US companies getting lucrative government contracts. Some businesses also were encouraged not to go American because they could be open to being sued by customers if data crossed the pond.

The question is, did Trump know when he was signing a deal which stripped foreigners living in the US of their privacy rights that he was screwing over his big business chums such as Oracle and IBM? After all, he tells everyone he is smart, and he is supposed to have some good advisers, so it must have been deliberate.

Of course, it is possible that he signed the executive order as part of his crack down on Muslim terrorists without thinking about the wider implications, but that is what stupid leaders do and Trump is smart.

We guess Oracle and IBM will be on the blower soon. Both want to make his database of Muslims and we guess they will not want him to stuff up their Europe business clouds.

I am not anti-american. I like the new anti-terrorism act, I like what he's doing for his country. Not very popular for evryone, but it's gonna pay in futur. I hope a strong leader like him for my country.

But spying allies is not really friendly. European data must be in europe protected by europeans. And not by NSA and others. Google is evrywhere, and Apple is the "only" serious oposent in smartphones. All americans company are sending data to NSA. Should I go to stone age for keeping my privacy ?

    The Trumptanic: "or, NOT"

I'm not familiar with the gritty details of the US-EU Data Shield agreement, and suspect President Cheeto knows even less than I.

The Righties think it's "cool" to bash NAFTA and Mexico, but bonehead moves like this may lead to the loss of over 27 years of economic agreements with the EU enacted after the end of the Cold War. Great plan (rolling eyes) ...

being that the United States and European Union together represent 60% of global GDP, 33% of world trade in goods, and 42% of world trade in services.

So, does that mean, that in order to be fully compliant with EU law, all these companys will HAVE TO have datacenters for EU customers in the EU ?
If yes, than , well, good.More work for citizens of the EU, money and investment,

It doesn't say "give us terrible deals and islamic terrorists". Those days are over... it's USA first now.
If we could get all the ignorant socialist millenials to cry into a hydroelectric generator, we could solve the worlds energy needs.

    Go Trump lol .
He's doing a pretty good job right now I think.

There's so many thing to be done, and it doesn't help getting distracted by a bunch of crazy commies.
Though it is entertaining, but also somewhat aggravating.

Btw it's 5 year per illegal you harbor, for those mayor's and such harboring illegal's, it's life..., depend's on if they continue on with there goofyness.
Apparently in someplaces, if you assault a nationalist now, it's 15 years.
Those kids in florida got 15 years I think for stealing a nationalist's jacket, they beat him for it.
I can't find the article on the time they got now though, because there's to many results on google now lol.
But the police tagged on conspiracy and everything else to there crimes.

The police are pretty angry these days with the liberals.
And given the rate things are going...
During the cold war we would give the death penalty to commies.
I don't want it to go that far.
But..., it could, just saying, the commies are chanting allah akbard or whatever it is, carrying isis flags (there's even a rainbow one now).
The womans march was 'supposedly' organized by a lady from isis and that wants seria law in the states ^^, I don't know if that one was true or not but I don't know, I don't actually doubt it.

If the left keeps pushing, a few more inches and they will treated as terrorists, and I'm not joking, it could happen.
Terrorist you are allow to shoot on sight btw (it's in the mp manual).
In one state, North Dakota, you're now allowed to run over lefties no ?'s asked if you're being assaulted by them.

I have some advice for lefties here.
If you're around a police officer, keep your mouth shut about politics.
And don't protest illegally, the places you guys do this you need permits for..., we pay for permits, by you don't?
You can and will eventually get arrested in mass if you guys keep it up.

I supposed I could tell you guys to stop swearing in public but...
What else was I gonna say, oh...
Black limos matter, lol, seriously, that's racist, poor limo.
    Darn commies...

Oh I suppose, I know you guys are people too, the left, but so am I, I'm a person too and I was born here, a nationalist.
Free university for illegals..., free this, free that, I saw an interview with an arab lady in the eu, she said she would prefer to go home if everything wasn't free ^^, they're entitled to free stuff :\.

    Edit:
And btw, no offense, to what I just posted.
Just posting some small amount of info for the heck of it.
I could post alot more but you know...
Just a..., you guys on the left..., watch yourselves, I'm saying this as a warning, don't be an idiot .
More are going to be arrested in these protests, don't be one of them.

You guys are lucky it's not eastern eu or russia, they have cobra spray over there, that burns more then 30mins..., it burns for 30 days...

Oh and btw, stop calling him orange whatever it is, if you're gonna say orange, say "orange kun", as in orange brother .
.... Code geass if you wonder where I got that...

Oh boy, here I go on a random rant I'm famous for yet again lol...
    Spying...

Police, repo and now garbage trucks now have cams and a program that does "Automatic License Plate Recognition" (the software is open src btw, I just don't remember the exact name of it, it's used for more then just plates).
It's sent to a db for pi's, which pi's and police have access to.
Here in michigan the dmv is now hooked into that db as well for police to access.

So for ex., you get caught driving with expired tags, or no insurance, or no license, the police will know about it if they have that camera setup on there vehicle (not all of them have it just yet).
They won't tell you the real reason they pulled you over, they just won't..., they'll come up with an excuse (they're trying not to give away there secret).

If you goto court afterwards and try to fight it, well, say for ex. a repo man drove by the parking lot were you had your car one day, by chance.
Before court the judge has the ability to find out if you have been driving or not from such data.

That's one of the odd ball things I learned a little while ago.
From losing my identity to some scum in detroit (I think it was the court honestly, they didn't know what happened and they finally just dropped all the charges, I had multible warrents and every thing).

I used to drive around with no insurance, before that happened.
Off and on, I'de have it for a month or 2, then cheat and cancel it, or put the insurance in storage mode.
I don't doit anymore lol , not after finding that news page on that, and seeing multiple vid's on youtube.

That started at dec 2015 I think it was, in michigan.
City cams and so on can track plates, they'll know if it has expired tags and so on from the dmv.

I wouldn't worry to much about that though, what I would worry about it your darned phone.
I use afwall+.. for android, android all come stock bloated with spyware stuff it looks like, even firefox for android seems like spyware (well, the pc ver does the same thing and calls home every time you open it, I don't know what config option fixes that one, seems like there's 50 options to change to get it to stop doing that sorta thing, it was that way, I dn, I setup a config I'm happy with, a few months go by and it's doing it again sorta thing).

Good question. Safe to say no one really knows, and it's hard to believe Apple, Google, Microsoft, FB, IBM, et. al., will abandon 'opportunities' they see in Europe.

No one I've seen has addressed the end result. Does the data revert back to the old 'Safe Harbor' agreements? Is it subject to FISA court intervention in the States? Would citizens of the EU have any standing in US courts to question the privacy of their data stored in the US?

It's obvious President Cheeto and his minions shoot first, aim later, and spew their 'alternative facts' in defense ....

External debt of the United States of America is $14.39 trillion, and I'm thinking you have no factual clue as to how it got there over the last 17 years ... That's okay. You seem like a bright fellow who could educate himself on such matters if you were so inclined.

There are, however, partisan hacks who wallow in their ignorance and HATE! I hope you are not of that type because their 'Stupid Lasts Forever' ...

Politics has no place here. I'm a brit, so have very little interest in what the idiots over the pond do, but even I can tell you how retarded Trump is.
