    What is New Posts vs Activity Stream?

    I am back after a long time and the site has changed so much.

    So I look and figure I'll hit new posts and see what is happening, But what is that, I don't understand? I have posted 10 seconds before that and it doesn't show up.
    So obviously New Posts isn't really new posts?


    But next to it is Activity Stream, that seems to be new posts?
    so what is new posts
