I never understood the fascination of running Linux on consoles. Console games are already super optimized for the platform they run on, and Linux graphic drivers in general suck. I don't really see any benefit to running Linux just for OS purposes either, as just about everyone has a super powerful phone these days.
I suppose it's a fun hack for those who partake in that kind of thing; I just don't see the value.

Depending on the circumstances, hacked consoles running Linux make excellent folding/mining hardware. All those GCN CUs, *drool*
