I am sure there are other Deneb CPUs out there equally capable though, especially those of later production (I got this one just weeks before they completely disappeared from the market).
Interesting, might also be MB related. I also got mine in amazon when they were clearing them out, but CnQ goes away over 18.5x as with my old C0. Only tried it in the ancient sig 790FX with a 09' bios. Next month I'll be able to confirm the year/week, as I took note of it somewhere.

Because as stilt proved on overclockers forums....this application is poorly coded. He added avx and a few other things in his version....both newer intel and amd performed 40% better.

So about 27.24 seconds @ 5g with 16 threads hypothetically.

    Vs my sandy @ 5g with a hypothetical 16 threads doing 32.16.

Guess they have squeezed some gains out over past few years.

    Theoretical ballpark results fixxed.

To bad no other speeds done on ryzen. I could come up with a close guesstimate @ same clocks.

Why does lightmans 4790k look like it would kick the crap out of your chip charles?

Eta @ 16 thread 4.4 gig is 29.99. Surely 600 mhz would catch and surpass your chip core for core thread for thread. Is it a very early ES?

37.56 for my humble broadwell-e can't wait to see some more numbers from AMD, they 6c/12t stuff looks like a steal if the benchmarks hold true.

    Took my lil 3770k @ 4.6ghz 1:06.28.
Tempted to ramp it up to 4.8+ to see if I can get it under a minute, but it doesn't really matter at this point. My ass is already kicked so bad.
Really happy AMD is doing something again. I hate intel for their premium priced K series chips and premium chipsets required to overclock. Rather than catering to overclockers, they exploit them. Next build will definitely be red.
