    HDD--->SSD preserving data MAC OS

    Hi guys.
    A friend of mine is about to attempt to clone his gf's hdd into an SSD , it's a mac laptop.
    I've heard plenty of times peeps talk about clonezilla.
    What's the best approach+ simplest one?
    Does someone have a guide ( yeah I did google but I don't fiddle with Mac stuff so I'm kinda lost here)?

    J

    i would use time machine to image to an external if you are doing a mac (assuming it is OSX.) hfs does not like being put on a non identical sized drive when you clone them.
