    Power Supply for x3 GTX 780 TI's

    Doing a re-fresh and replacing 3 285GTX's (205 Watt) with 3 GTX 780 TI's (250 Watt) and I'm concerned my PSU won't be up to the extra load. Running a Silverstone OP1000W (80 Amp 12v rail).

From my personal estimate, power draw from CPU and GPU are at best 75ish amps and at worst 80+, not including the case fans and D5 pump. Used this tool to calculate power requirements: http://outervision.com/power-supply-calculator and came up with 1187 W requirement at stock speeds and 1529 W requirement overclocking CPU/GPU's Whats a reasonably good PSU (not the best/most expensive) that can run the below setup without being pressed too hard?

-Asus P6X58-E Pro or Asus Rampage II Extreme (not sure yet)

    -Intel i7 965 - 130w, 11 amp - Plan to run at 4GHZ @ 1.4V (where it runs stable currently)

    -x3 GTX 780 TI - 250w, 20 amp (x3) - Plan to run at 1200ish core (107% power - ~270w and 22.5 amps each)

    -x4 HD's (x2 10k and x2 7k rpm)

    -x1 SSD

-D5 water pump (cooling CPU and all 3 GPU's)

    -30w / channel 6 channel fan controller x 5 120's (360 and 240 rad) - 15 amp max

    -x2 200mm fans

    -x1 140mm fan

    -x1 DVD

    Thanks!

my two 980Ti + 5820k was only pulling 700W off the wall on full load, but on those psu calculator it stated it would pull 750w.
so a 1.3k psu should be enough for you...
would recommend those G2/P2 EVGA psu's, they come with 10 years warranty too.

The G3 looks impressive and is going for $180 on amazon; not bad.

Oh, meant the G2. 108amp 12V should be enough I would think.

Yeah, I only buy Prime. It'll be a few days before the new case comes in and a few more days to plan out how I'm going to mount everything so I have time.
