Making of PC TeK Reviews Benchmark Rig

Making of PC TeK Reviews Benchmark Rig

It has been about two years since I started a reviewing and got a great response from all of you guys and I am very thankful for all your support and feedbacks.

So now it?s time for implementation of one such great feedback.

Making of PC TeK Reviews Benchmark Rig. A static PC hardware dedicated for Graphic Cards and different storage solution reviewing and benchmarking.
For this build, I have decided to use my Phase Changer Rig as case and cooling solution. I have made this case a few years back and till now was lying unused.

    The Phase Changer Rig ?Build

About Phase Change cooling and why I choose it for Benchmark Rig

Phase change cooling works on the same principle as refrigerators and Air conditioners do. A compressor is used to change the state of a chemical refrigerant (gas compressed to liquid state) from liquid to vapors, and as this happens an endothermic reaction occurs where heat is absorbed causing the temperature to drop. The compressed liquid refrigerant is forced at high pressure through copper capillary tubing into an evaporator chamber which is a low-pressure area and evaporates back into gaseous form, absorbing heat in an endothermic reaction (it gets very cold). The evaporator chamber in a phase change cooling system just happens to be the block of copper which is mounted onto the CPU.

This phase changer cooling solution will provide the Benchmark Rig extreme overclocking capabilities removing any CPU bottleneck issues while reviewing or benchmarking Graphic cards, Memories and storage solutions. On the other hand, while overclocking with a standard water-cooled system, the CPU temperatures will never go below ambient levels. Whereas Phase Changer will cool a processor to below ambient temperatures ( in my case up to -30C), and this appeals to the zest for overclocking ability as an enthusiast myself. An overclocking session with LN2 will last for few hours only, with all the hassle of again and again mounting the LN2 pot and pouring of LN2. But with this Benchmark Rig, we have the convenience of easy and Extreme Overclocking, even 24/7 packed within a desktop tower case.

    Sponsors
After listening to the build idea, GIGABYTE India came forward to support the build by sponsoring one of their top of the line motherboard, the GIGABYTE Z170X-Gaming G1 Motherboard.

INTEL India provided ?Intel Skylake Core i7 6700K Processor? for this build.

GIGABYTE Xtreme Gaming India supporting the build with Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 G1 Gaming card .

For all the power needs, Cooler Master India provided us with an 80 PLUS Gold certified ?V1000? PSU.

    Will update more.

Overall this build is super good for benching and reviewing purpose. Will last long giving balanced results for Graphics Cards, RAMs and SSD benchmarks.

    Thanks.
