    Chinese made Nvidia Graphics Cards

So, did the unforgivable and bought into a deal "too good to be true" and picked up an Nvidia GTX 780TI with Koolance full cover block for $150. The card arrived and was immaculate; brand new. Even the DVI connector for the monitor was missing the signature scratches.

I was surprised, the block was clean and still full of fluid from where it was tested before sent out. I was very surprised. Anyways plug it in, run GPUZ and sure enough it reports as a GTX 780 TI, performance is great, etc...

I decided to get a second from the seller and 2nd was just as good, but as I was installing, I noticed a "Made in China" stamp... Its EVGA so not an obscure company but still, I'm a little upset.

Anyone have experience with "made in china" cards?

    The add (one more left):

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/nVidia-GeFor...8AAOSww9VXhjp9

I offered $150 on a whim and he took it. He won't accept my refund request (its listed as "for parts, not working" in the add... missed that...) F me, hopefully its ok.

Been playing Total War: Warhammer on max settings for almost a week, overclocked to about 1200 core and it's been running just fine

I'll try to get pictures up today on the card not installed.

evga cards are made in china but packaged in the US.
not just evga almost all of them are made in china, even the NVIDIA chip itself is made in taiwan.
Designed in the US but made in china.

    "for parts, not working"
this is bad, it's usually damaged and not working.

Well that's good to know. Not seeing the same "made in china" stamp on the pictures I'm pulling up on Google though.

I don't know what the "for parts not working" is all about. Right under he says it was tested for 10 min and the card came with a purple liquid in the block.

Should have read the ad before putting an offer but I really didn't think he would take it.

His reply to my question on that:
"The cards are definitely working! I just post them under parts. I had an issue with EBay one time and they recommended me to post under "parts or not working""

I can attest that the first one I ordered is working. Today when I get off work I'll test the second one and get some pictures and screen shots up.

If these are legit, something is very off because these cards and blocks look completely unused except for the liquid in the blocks. Stolen maybe? I thought they were cheap Chinese knock off's but I'm feeling a little better.

    Packaging wasn't the greatest:

Anyone else have a "made in china" sticker on their card? Am I just overreacting? This thing is way too clean to sell for $150... Something isn't right.

Ok, I feel like a complete idiot...

I've never seen a "made in china" sticker on a GPU ever. Dug up my old 9800's and GTX285's... Sure enough, made in china...

Sorry guys, on the flip side, feel a bit better now but it'll probably be a while before I buy anything off ebay again.
