    Pascal OC?

Has anyone moved to Pascal yet?
I've been reading about OCing on other forums, but I expect the best OCs to be here.

I have the MSI GTX 1080 Seahawk EK X on the way. It's going to eventually be housed in a closet with an AC duct, so hopefully ambient temps will be 50 to 55 F. Until then, I get to fight 75ish temps. At least my loop is going to finally get a break from cooling my GTX 690.

it's crunching on GPU (Collatz Conjecture) project.
the best you can get is probably 100-150 more.

from what i have seen every one gets right around 2100 on all pascal parts: unless you are kingpin with custom cards and a custom test bios that nvidia would not let you sell/sign since you have to tamper with parts that are off limits.

I ended up RMA'ing my MSI 1080 b/c of a strange decrease in performance after initial benchmarking & unusually high temps.
I ended up getting the Zotact WC'd variant & I can break 2200, no sweat.

Apparently, this is good or something... lol.
Now I just need to have the guts to mod the card to see how much further I could push it.

Based on testing of nearly 150 cards (unfortunately none of them are mine ), custom cards top out around 100 MHz LOWER than FE.

With this information in hand, I asked Vince (Kingpin) what he thinks of it and he matter-of-factly asked if it isn't common knowledge that NVIDIA pre-binned the best GPUs for FE.

I heard as much from other sources. It's nice to hear one of the best guys in the world looking at it the same way.
