    Thumbs up Best GPU

I have a HP 8200 Elite desktop. I was looking for the best GPU option for this computer. It's a low profile and the PSU is only 240w. I need something better than the on-board gpu. I was looking at the Radeon R7 240. Is there anything else as an option?

the r7 240 is worse than intergrated, i would look at like a 460. keep in that should have a restricted UEFI system and in the past i have had huge problems with post errors and the card being disabled if the graphics card had no uefi bios and if it did not like the security it generated.

Thanks man. I might just buy a new MB and put the CPU and the new ram that I bought and put it in my other tower. I have a decent GPU in that one and a big PSU. Just liked the smaller form factor of the HP.

Besides that, a recommendation for a ATX MB for a LGA1155 socket? I was looking at a Intel mobo on Amazon.

    dont buy intel MBs.

this one looked the cheapest i would buy https://www.amazon.com/MSI-Intel-Z97...words=lga+1155

maybe check used stuff, i would bet you can get a used MB and cpu with an i5 for a reasonable price wit

For Photoshop and some online gaming. In my other desktop, i have a EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti SC and it runs everything that I want fine. That mobo that you posted is a lga1150.

sorry about that, it was in the 1155. they are really hard to find.

if you are doing photoshop i would stick with nvidia, they do not have a low power card ATM so the best you could do is the 1060 3g but i think it would use too much power or cut it very close (and is not cost effective for a low price build.) if that 750ti works i would stick with it.

edit, maybe this guy http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...34&ignorebbr=1 , but i am not sure it is a good move.

I found this list, what do you think? Price isn't a problem, i can afford a 150, 200.00 for a mobo.

if you have a budget of 150-200 i would look to getting a cheap kit. you can get a 6100k and asrock pro 4 for $200, it is even less if you live near a micro center or frys as they will bundle them for a little less.
