Intel 600p 512GB SSD Review: The Ultimate

    https://www.chiphell.com/thread-1635321-1-1.html

    TLR

    Wrecks 750`s face.

Is not bottlenecked by PCIe 2.0 x4

No difference for avg. user. vs bigger brother.

Power users like in Anandtech`s The Destroyer bench will benefit from 750ssd but not applicable to 99% of user base.

as i mentioned, avg user wont see a difference. unless you are dev

plus it uses 16nm nand as opposed to 20

    really, all in OP

16nm vs 20nm is more of a detractor, lower endurance.
the 600p seems a lot slower too, only benefit seems to be $/GB ~ .35/GB vs ~.70/GB which is certainly nice.

you cannot say it wreaks face. it might be the budget champ, or cost king, but not that it wreaks the 750. it is just under half the speed/iops and the SMI controller does not do mixed operations. it is also 4 bit micron tlc and that is much sliower than micron mlc or samsung 3 bit tlc.

it was like when you posted the 1060 3g review and it was the worst in the line up but you said it was the winner.

1060 6gb did win vs 980Ti cause, 1060 is such tdp limited that once it is unlocked it will blow Ti away. Even with stock tdp it rivaled 980Ti losing by what 3fps? You cant deny that. The comment section to that video was blown away as well by its performance.

Here, again people dont read OP, no one will ever see the diffference between the 2 unless you are a dev working on the heavy workloads. Not sure why brag about it, if there is smth you cant utilize and yet costs more, plus runs on older tech.

    According to Anandtech:
750 was an overkill in many ways as a consumer product, not unlocking its full potential.

Yes devs will utilize SSDs 750 to its limits but for everyone else?.. Intel 600p have their own advantages over the predecessor as aforementioned.

    1) Cant compare 1TB SSD which costs a fortune pllus has higher IO than lower size models

2)Not sure how did they get the result but here http://imgur.com/a/NnVxc it was installed in standard user machine and results are not great.

And here is a low end 600p 256GB ssd almost matching the random 4K write speed of the 950 pro :0 http://imgur.com/a/9SrIi

    Fking images always fck fail

    LOL

did 600p 512 just beat 950 PRO Plus it has 4K random write of 130mb/s, which in real world scenario is literally the same as 950 PRO at 131mbs and 157mbs as shown in this bench RIP 950

    From Guru 256GB

    From Legit Reviews 512GB

plus intel has much better sustained performance than sumsung ssds

And I Fucing FINALLY GOT THE IMAGES to display

So intel 600P does outperform it in 4k-64 Writes and has random 4K writes of 130mbs vs 137mbs

Your result and others is like at pcie 2.0 lol

several reviewers already noted it that 4k on 950 is slow when compared to 750.
probably they'll improve it on 960.

As long as you have an empty pcie slot, does not matter which one, must stick one NVME SSD!

    It is a must, seriously

    Why better?

The max 4k write IOPS on the intel 750ssd 1TB is up to 290, which would translate into ~~2000mbs. Intel is undisputed champ in this area.

No one will get to such speeds except for 1% userbase who actually somehow managed to utilize the ssd to death.

This is Summy fanboy thread. It is better cuz I has it lol

It does beat 950Pro at half the price, lolz. Keep in mind this is fresh OS install so the 4k speeds are bit slow, but will rise up when the drive is put under high load. Watch chiphell review
