Wow! Clean Build ! What loads can it hold ?
That is nicely done, it looks to be a 1hp Danfoss condensing unit.

I have one very close to this one, its a pure beast !
Thanks Bill, I know that Big one is too huge and we were having a hard time finding a Grill cover for it ......I was going to have one made, I said screw it just stick with Ron's Monster Phase Change.
that's Ron's Bench as he's building mine.
Thanks Master Ron M.

Curious to see how this handles current gen loads. Really interested in getting a new unit from Ron.
As always, great craftsmanship Ron

that condensor are much too bigger for that compressor ....that are designed for 2HP compressor , if you look at his ports are designed for 10mm pipe , so danfoss clx 18 use 6mm port discharge!......crimped ports are also not my favorits in condensing units , reduction cost only few cents ....
but from far nice unit!

just for curiosity , what temps have you for example in wPrime 1024M , with 6700k/skylake cpu 4core/8HT at 1.68v? or at 1.58v? open cpu-z and real temp in parallel with the benchmark to see your temps ..then you can call it like you wish

Mine is very close to this unit, I ran a 3960x back in the day... 4.8GHZ and wPrime 1024M... it only dropped temps by 1c.
These units are beasts, built for benching. Nothing I throw at it hardly even touched it.
I had mine tuned for loads, temps were -40c if I remember correctly, I will have to look up some pictures to see what I was getting to be sure.
I don't think a 6700K will even touch this beast.
you?re wrong!
- first of all you should know a small die surface is much more hard to cool than a bigger one , even the output consuption on the bigger die are 2 time above!
- second , when you use 2 layers of TIM : cpu die >TIM>IHS>TIM> evap base will overhearted the cpu in socket even you know that , so an evap at -40 will be real at + degree delta T on the chip itself!!
3960x use soldered IHS on the die , had no so much issue regarding load and delta T like a 6700k for exemple !!!!
run for example a XTU and you will see what i talking about!!
i?m waiting the result
